How to test the density of PVC foam products and calculate it?

(1) Board surface: Smooth and flat to the touch, with no obvious mechanical texture, no color difference on the surface, milky white, no stains, no obvious small pits, no pinholes, no large holes or cracks. Note: Non-milky white foam boards that seep into recycled waste boards do not fall under the category of eco-friendly boards. Eco-friendly boards do not contain lead (with a content lower than the standards in Europe and America).

(2) Side of the board: The cut is smooth, the pores are fine, there are no pinholes, no large holes, the powder shedding is not severe, there are no honeycomb holes, the fibers of the cut material fall off by themselves, and there is no popping. Note: Be cautious when the above situation occurs. The subsequent process of making the finished product is troublesome.

(3) Thickness measurement: When the caliper is placed upright on the surface, the contact should be tight without any gaps, and the thickness should be uniform on both sides. Measure the left, middle and right sides to check if the deviation is large. A thickness deviation of ± 0.2MM is normal.

(4) Board weight calculation method: Weight (grams)= length * width * thickness (centimeters)* density

(5) Density algorithm: Density = weight (grams)/ length * width * thickness (centimeters).
